The Conolia Football League draft came with many surprises that kept CFL fans on their toes and waiting for the next shock. Many are now saying that expansion team Tots War, had a disastrous draft. In the first round and sixth pick overall, Tots War management attempted to pick up Bill Clinton for their team and in round two, the confused owner declared his team pick as Al Gore. Fortunately for Tots War fans, the system picked up Clinton Portis and Frank Gore instead of the former President and Vice President.
Snuggles the Dog was also drafted by Tots War, but was quickly released after sustaining an injury to her tongue.
However, the most shocking and jaw dropping move of all came from Orange Crush owner in the third round when Kyle Orton was picked as a primary quarterback. The gasps of fellow team owners were quickly replaced with hysterical laughter.
Kyle Orton is best known for his three interceptions in the first preseason game along with his inability to pass, scramble, or be a quarterback.
